Supporting Gatsby Benchmark 8

The statutory guidance states that schools must provide independent careers guidance to pupils in accordance with the relevant legal requirements. Ardea provides qualified, independent careers guidance to support schools in meeting this statutory duty and delivering Gatsby Benchmark 8. Our guidance offers meaningful personal guidance encounters, responds to individual needs and enables pupils to make informed decisions about their future education, training and employment.

We discuss your needs

We explore your existing careers provision, the students you want to support and what you hope the guidance will achieve.

I provide the guidance

Students receive independent, impartial and person-centred guidance, tailored to their individual circumstances and decisions.

You receive feedback

Agreed records and feedback support students’ next steps and help you evaluate the contribution to your careers programme.

The young person remains at the centre of every decision.

Ardea provides independent guidance, not prescribed destinations. Schools retain responsibility for their careers programmes, while students are supported to explore opportunities, understand their options and make choices that are right for them.
